Fight for my Life

Mind against self,
Like facing a monster in war;
The chances of winning are slim.
Pain, stress, and hurt surround me.
Nowhere to run; nowhere to hide
I have to face this monster.
I have to put an end to this war tonight.

How I pray for freedom;
Pure bliss for just a day
This enemy has such a hold on me,
That I feel I have lost all control of myself.
I feel no matter how hard I fight
I will never be able to defeat you;
Will never control you,
Or gain my life back.
I have to put an end to this war tonight.

Although I’m fighting on my own
I, unlike you have people who are cheering me on.
They want to see you dead.
They support me through the good and bad,
Encourage me to persevere through everything you throw at me.
They all think I can do this,
Though I question that myself
I feel I have to fight until the end.
I have to put an end to this war tonight.

I struggle every day,
Though I will never surrender.
No matter how strong of a hold on me you have,
You will never witness defeat on my part.
Mark my words,

Before I cut... I used to write a lot.. because I'm able to put myself in like a fake world one that I decide what happens, the reactions, and such.
