I know it sounds really weird. But when my parents are arguing about my ocd, I'm having an off day, stressed out or having an anxiety attack over something I find listening to music with a good dance beat and playing bejeweled blitz can take my mind off of everything.

I think it's because your mind is what you're fighting with ocd and the bejeweled blitz is making you get as many combos as you can in a minute; forcing your brain to bring its attention away from your obsessive thoughts and onto thinking about where to click to get the combos, and making it think very fast so you can react well in that single minute.

When I am close to cutting.. so close I'm staring at the knife right beside me I can switch on the game and music and I totally forget all about the knife.

I never thought it'd be so easy.. but it really is because it's forcing your brain to seriously think about something really contently and fast-so fast that you end up concentrating on the game and you leave your obsessive thoughts. Smile

I know it might sound weird, but that's just a little thing that might help. Smile
